Description
Delightful cookies filled with rich Nutella, combining the flavors of chocolate and hazelnut for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Nutella, for stuffing the cookies (approximately 1 tablespoon per cookie)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft cookie dough forms.
- Flatten a small portion of cookie dough in your hand and place approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center.
- Fold the dough over the Nutella, sealing it within the dough to form a ball. Repeat for each cookie.
- Arrange the stuffed dough balls on the baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Sprinkle the tops with semisweet chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, and cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm with milk or coffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
