Description

Delightful cookies filled with rich Nutella, combining the flavors of chocolate and hazelnut for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Nutella, for stuffing the cookies (approximately 1 tablespoon per cookie)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft cookie dough forms.
  6. Flatten a small portion of cookie dough in your hand and place approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center.
  7. Fold the dough over the Nutella, sealing it within the dough to form a ball. Repeat for each cookie.
  8. Arrange the stuffed dough balls on the baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  9. Sprinkle the tops with semisweet chocolate chips.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  11. Remove from the oven, and cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best served warm with milk or coffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
