Description

Delightful twist on a classic green bean casserole, perfect for appetizers or snacks at parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, cut
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix in the spices until well blended.
  3. Stir in half of the fried onions and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the green bean mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold corners over the filling and pinch edges to seal tightly.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bites on it.
  8. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and fried onions.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bites can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator or frozen for later use.
