Delightful twist on a classic green bean casserole, perfect for appetizers or snacks at parties.
Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans, cut
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup fried onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix in the spices until well blended.
- Stir in half of the fried onions and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Place a spoonful of the green bean mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold corners over the filling and pinch edges to seal tightly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bites on it.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese and fried onions.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These bites can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator or frozen for later use.
