Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup crushed crackers (e.g., Ritz)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine crushed crackers, melted butter, and the remaining cheddar cheese. Mix until well coated.
  5. Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
