Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 cup crushed crackers (e.g., Ritz)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine crushed crackers, melted butter, and the remaining cheddar cheese. Mix until well coated.
- Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
