Description

A creamy and delightful dish featuring chicken breasts cooked with spicy chorizo, ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 150 grams of chorizo
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Olive oil (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drizzle in olive oil.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and let rest.
  3. Dice onion and garlic while the chicken rests.
  4. Sauté onion in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until translucent, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Add chopped chorizo and stir until crispy and aromatic.
  6. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, letting it simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
  7. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Allow to simmer together for another 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be served with vegetables for a one-pan meal. Adjust spices based on your preference.
