A creamy and delightful dish featuring chicken breasts cooked with spicy chorizo, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 150 grams of chorizo
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drizzle in olive oil.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and let rest.
- Dice onion and garlic while the chicken rests.
- Sauté onion in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until translucent, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add chopped chorizo and stir until crispy and aromatic.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, letting it simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Allow to simmer together for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
This dish can be served with vegetables for a one-pan meal. Adjust spices based on your preference.
