Description
A delicious twist on the classic meatloaf, made with ground chicken, garlic, and Parmesan for a lighter yet flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
Notes
For a crispy top, broil the meatloaf for the last few minutes of baking. You can add diced onions or bell peppers for extra moisture.
