Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup sliced olives
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and aromatic, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add the ground chicken, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned, about 7 to 10 minutes.
- Stir in the olives and dried oregano, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the mixture cook for another 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Top with crumbled feta cheese, serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
For added spice, consider adding red pepper flakes while cooking. This dish is also great served over cauliflower rice or in lettuce wraps.
