Description

A delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken breast in a creamy sauce with herbs and sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well to combine.
  5. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes, dried basil, and dried oregano. Mix and bring the sauce to a simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
