Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced carrots and stir to coat them in butter.
- Sprinkle in the brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add the water and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cover the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the carrots are tender and glazed.
