Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken or ground turkey
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1 cup zucchini, diced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken or ground turkey, bell peppers, zucchini, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Grease a baking dish and spread the mixture evenly in it.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using leftover rotisserie chicken. Feel free to add extra toppings such as olives or jalapeños.
