Description

A delicious one-pan dish featuring tender chicken thighs sautéed with garlic, lemon juice, and green beans for a quick, flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 pound green beans
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the last few minutes of cooking, add green beans to the skillet and pour lemon juice over the chicken and beans.
  5. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until green beans are tender-crisp.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels before seasoning for a nice golden crust. Adjust garlic and lemon to taste. Can substitute chicken thighs for breasts or shrimp, and swap green beans for other vegetables.
