A delicious one-pan dish featuring tender chicken thighs sautéed with garlic, lemon juice, and green beans for a quick, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 pound green beans
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, add green beans to the skillet and pour lemon juice over the chicken and beans.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until green beans are tender-crisp.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels before seasoning for a nice golden crust. Adjust garlic and lemon to taste. Can substitute chicken thighs for breasts or shrimp, and swap green beans for other vegetables.
