Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Yellow onion
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 Bell pepper
- 1 can Crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Dry white wine
- 8 oz Lasagna noodles
- 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 Bay leaves
- 2 tbsp Fresh basil
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onions, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, heavy cream, and dry white wine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and bay leaves.
- Remove from heat and discard bay leaves. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
