Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Stir well.
- In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into circles.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the donuts until golden on both sides, then drain on paper towels.
- Whip together heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fill the cooled donuts with the cream using a piping bag or a ziplock bag.
- Serve and enjoy!
