Description

A delightful and savory Korean dish featuring tender ground beef cooked with sweet soy sauce, garlic, and served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until brown, about 5-7 minutes, draining excess fat.
  2. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding a fried egg on top or serving with kimchi.
