Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice (for serving)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and brown sugar, cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.
- Serve the beef over cooked rice, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the soy sauce and brown sugar according to your taste preferences. You can also add bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
