Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (flank or ribeye)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cups short-grain rice
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and brown sugar for the marinade.
  2. Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes, longer for more intensity.
  3. Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the steak to desired doneness, approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare.
  5. Let the steak rest before slicing.
