Delicious Korean BBQ Steak Rice Bowls featuring marinated steak, fluffy rice, and a spicy cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (flank or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cups short-grain rice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp sriracha (adjust for heat)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Sliced green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and brown sugar for the marinade.
- Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes, longer for more intensity.
- Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Grill or pan-fry the steak to desired doneness, approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare.
- Let the steak rest before slicing.
- Mix heavy cream, sriracha, and lime juice to make the spicy cream sauce.
- Assemble bowls with rice, sliced steak, and drizzle with sauce. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
