Description
Whip up some juicy Korean BBQ meatballs that are easy to make and impressively tasty.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, rice vinegar, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
- Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- While baking, prepare the gochujang glaze by mixing gochujang, soy sauce, and a splash of water.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the glaze to coat.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for future snacks.
