Description

Whip up some juicy Korean BBQ meatballs that are easy to make and impressively tasty.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, rice vinegar, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. While baking, prepare the gochujang glaze by mixing gochujang, soy sauce, and a splash of water.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the glaze to coat.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for future snacks.
