Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 14 oz diced tomatoes (drained)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and mix in ricotta cheese until well combined.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.
