Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Add the milk and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until well combined.
