Description

A creamy and spicy jalapeno chicken sauce that is quick to make and delicious over pasta, rice, or as a dip.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, combine the shredded chicken and chicken broth to moisten the chicken.
  2. Add the heavy cream and cream cheese, stirring until well combined.
  3. Mix in the diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, tasting as you go.
  5. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Notes

For a less spicy version, replace jalapenos with bell peppers. This sauce is also great for meal prep.
