Description
A creamy and spicy jalapeno chicken sauce that is quick to make and delicious over pasta, rice, or as a dip.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, combine the shredded chicken and chicken broth to moisten the chicken.
- Add the heavy cream and cream cheese, stirring until well combined.
- Mix in the diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Season with salt and pepper, tasting as you go.
- Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Notes
For a less spicy version, replace jalapenos with bell peppers. This sauce is also great for meal prep.
