Ingredients
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped bell peppers and onion, and sauté until softened.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
- Spread the cooked sausage mixture evenly over the dough.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the sausage mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
