Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped bell peppers and onion, and sauté until softened.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce over the sausage mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
