Quick and easy cookies that are perfect for Valentine’s Day, loaded with M&M’s for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups M&M’s chocolate candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just blended.
- Fold in the M&M’s.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Ensure the butter is softened to avoid lumps. Feel free to substitute M&M’s with chocolate chips or nuts.
