Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Add the sliced bananas and cook until caramelized.
- Stir in the vanilla and cinnamon.
- In a mixing bowl, mix all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and the egg, mixing until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Spoon the caramelized bananas over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
