Description

A quick and delicious chicken pasta dish with a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Stir in honey and black pepper, mixing well.
  5. Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and vegetable mixture, tossing to coat.
  7. Season with salt to taste and serve warm, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
