Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Stir in honey and black pepper, mixing well.
- Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and vegetable mixture, tossing to coat.
- Season with salt to taste and serve warm, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
