Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Melt additional butter and mix with honey. Brush over the rolls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, then brush with more honey butter before serving.
Notes
For best results, use warm milk and ensure the oven is preheated before baking.
