Ingredients

  • 1 package of cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups spinach or kale
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cheese ravioli and cook according to package instructions until they float to the top.
  6. Stir in the spinach or kale and cook until wilted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes
