Description

All the flavors of a classic cheeseburger wrapped in a soft tortilla! These Cheeseburger Wraps are filled with seasoned beef, cheddar, lettuce, pickles, and a creamy homemade ‘special sauce’. Quick, fun, and family-friendly!

Special Sauce:

  • 125 ml mayonnaise
  • 60 ml finely diced dill pickles
  • 15 ml yellow mustard
  • 45 ml ketchup
  • 2 g paprika

Filling:

  • 450 g ground beef (80/20 or lean)
  • 1 yellow onion, diced (divided)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to taste)
  • 4 soft flour tortillas
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Make the Special Sauce: In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, diced pickles, mustard, ketchup, and paprika until well combined. Chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with half of the diced onion for about 7–8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat. Add 2 tablespoons of special sauce, a handful of shredded lettuce, pickle slices, a scoop of the beef mixture, some of the remaining raw onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Wrap: Fold into a tight wrap or burrito. Grill seam-side down in a hot dry skillet if desired for a crispy finish.

Notes

Customize with bacon, jalapeños, or tomato slices. For extra crunch, add a few potato sticks or crushed tortilla chips inside the wrap before folding.
