  • Author: admin
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Poultry

Description

A healthier alternative to fried chicken tenders, perfect for family meals and easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip into the egg, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet.
  5. Spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure chicken strips are evenly sized for even cooking. For extra crunch, add grated parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
