Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular. Marinating the chicken in seasoned buttermilk adds flavor and tenderness.
