Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Add honey, applesauce, and eggs to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.
