Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup protein powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
- Add honey, applesauce, and eggs to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
Make sure to use ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture. Adjust sweeteners to taste.
