Ingredients

- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
- Stir in lentils, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, and dried basil; mix well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until lentils are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
- Serve hot and garnish with fresh basil.
