Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup mashed bananas or applesauce
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, mashed bananas (or applesauce), chopped apples, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. If you want added sweetness, stir in honey or maple syrup.
- If using, fold in the walnuts or pecans.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving as a snack or breakfast on the go.
