Ingredients
- 8 Hawaiian rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Maple syrup, for serving
- Powdered sugar, for serving

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Dip each half of the rolls into the custard mixture, ensuring they soak for a few seconds.
- Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the soaked rolls in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh fruit.
Notes
For best results, use slightly stale rolls to improve absorption of the custard. Don’t rush the soaking process.
