Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Combine dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, yeast) in a large mixing bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, transfer to a floured surface, and divide into eight equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a roll and place seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
