Gyoza Soup

Description

A comforting Japanese soup combining vegetable gyozas, fresh vegetables, and flavorful broth for a cozy meal.


Ingredients

  • 5 vegetable gyozas
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • ½1 bulb pack choi, sliced into chunks
  • 20 g ginger, finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ courgette, spiralised
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilli oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Add chilli oil into a medium-sized saucepan on low heat.
  2. Add half of the thinly sliced spring onion and season with salt. Fry for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, and fry for a minute.
  4. Add all other ingredients: gyozas, pak choi, courgette, stock, and soy sauce.
  5. Stir to combine and cover with a lid. Simmer for around 7 minutes.
  6. Serve with a sprinkle of spring onion and chilli flakes.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for best flavor. Adjust spice level by varying chilli oil. Customize with other vegetables or proteins like tofu.
