Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic for 3-5 minutes until soft.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, around 7-10 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add sliced zucchini and marinara sauce, mixing well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading evenly. Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
