Description

Grilled Udon is a delicious and simple dish featuring shrimp, fresh vegetables, and savory sauces, perfect for quick meals or weekend treats.


Ingredients

  • 200g udon noodles
  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender.
  6. Add the cooked udon noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, tossing everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp, and feel free to use your favorite vegetables. For extra heat, add chili flakes or sriracha.
