Grilled shrimp and pineapple skewers that are easy to make and perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
- Add shrimp and pineapple to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Thread shrimp and pineapple onto skewers, alternating between the two.
- Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. You can use alternative proteins like chicken or tofu if desired.
