Description
A delicious fusion of grilled cheese and burritos filled with seasoned beef, gooey cheese, and flavorful sauces, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, then drain excess grease. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave to make them flexible.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer with rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
- Heat a clean skillet, sprinkle 2 tbsp of shredded cheese in the pan, place the burrito seam-side down, and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Notes
For extra flavor, add toppings like jalapeños, black beans, or corn. Use full-fat cheese for a creamier texture.
