Description
A gooey, cheesy burrito fusion that elevates traditional comfort food with a crispy exterior and melty inside.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, then add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Lay one tortilla flat and layer with cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with cheddar and mozzarella.
- Heat a skillet over medium and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese onto the pan. Place burrito seam-side down and cook until crispy, about 3–4 minutes. Flip and repeat on the other side.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt, and allow the burrito to achieve golden-brown crust. Customize with different cheeses for a richer flavor.
