Description
A delicious fusion of a classic burrito and grilled cheese, featuring a crispy exterior and gooey cheese filling.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, drain excess grease, and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave until pliable.
- Lay one tortilla flat, layer with rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese on the pan, place the burrito seam-side down, and grill for 3–4 minutes. Flip and repeat.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt. Don’t rush the grilling process for a perfect crispy crust.
