Description

A delicious fusion of a classic burrito and grilled cheese, featuring a crispy exterior and gooey cheese filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, drain excess grease, and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Warm the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave until pliable.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat, layer with rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese on the pan, place the burrito seam-side down, and grill for 3–4 minutes. Flip and repeat.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt. Don’t rush the grilling process for a perfect crispy crust.
