Description
A quick and easy recipe for marinated chicken skewers served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, shredded
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced (for tzatziki)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes and ensure they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For the tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt, shredded cucumber, chopped dill, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl until blended.
- Serve the chicken souvlaki with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken longer and do not overcrowd the air fryer.
