Crispy and savory garlic parmesan sweet potato wedges, a healthier alternative to regular fries.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into wedges.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Spread the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs like rosemary or thyme, or a pinch of cayenne pepper for spice.
