A delicious and healthy snack or side dish featuring sweet potatoes coated in garlic and Parmesan, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into wedges.
- In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure sweet potatoes are cut into even sizes for uniform cooking. You can soak wedges for extra crunch and adjust seasonings to taste.
