Description
A delicious and healthy side dish of roasted green beans coated in garlic and parmesan for a flavorful crunch.
Ingredients
- 1 – 1½ lbs. green beans
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Lemon, to squeeze over the top (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
- Trim both ends off the green beans and place them in a large bowl.
- Add green beans, oil, garlic, parmesan, salt, and pepper to the bowl, and toss until fully coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking pan.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes until cooked to your liking.
- Squeeze lemon over the top before serving if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
