Description
A quick and delicious Garlic Lemon Pasta with broccoli, ready in just five minutes.
Ingredients
- 200g pasta (spaghetti recommended)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes, add the broccoli to the pasta pot.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli, saving some pasta water.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet.
- Mix in lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper.
- Add reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Be sure to salt the water for the pasta. Avoid overcooking the broccoli to keep it vibrant.
