Description
A delicious and easy-to-make garlic butter flatbread that’s perfect as a side or snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Add the warm water and olive oil into the dry mixture and stir until the dough begins to form.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Divide the rested dough into equal portions and roll each piece into a flatbread shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously on warm flatbreads.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
Consider storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days or freezing for up to 2 months.
