Description

A delicious and easy-to-make garlic butter flatbread that’s perfect as a side or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil into the dry mixture and stir until the dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Divide the rested dough into equal portions and roll each piece into a flatbread shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
  8. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  9. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously on warm flatbreads.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Consider storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days or freezing for up to 2 months.
