Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, melt the butter. Once melted, mix it with the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just blended and avoid overmixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed in the dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. The edges should be set while the centers remain soft.
Notes
To keep cookies fresh, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
