- 1/3 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt

- Add the sugar, brown sugar, sour cream, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well until combined.
- In another bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
