Description

A delightful dish combining crispy chicken with a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for family dinners or parties.

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Spring onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  2. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it in the breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. In a separate pan, combine the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Heat until warm.
  5. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce and mix well to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot before adding the chicken for a crispy coating. For a healthier option, consider baking the breaded chicken instead of frying.
