Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Spring onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
- In a separate pan, combine the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Heat until warm.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce and mix well to coat evenly.
- Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Ensure the oil is hot before adding the chicken for a crispy coating. For a healthier option, consider baking the breaded chicken instead of frying.
