A comforting and easy chicken pot pie casserole, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1 cup creamy sauce (like cream of chicken soup)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, creamy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Tear the biscuit dough into pieces and place them over the top of the chicken and vegetable mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage. Customize vegetables and add cheese for variation.
